The NW Dance Program is committed to creating and performing innovative, new contemporary dance works by established and emerging dance makers in an open and artistically stimulating environment. We are looking for experienced solo dancers interested in a diverse, collaborative environment focused on innovation and creation in contemporary dance. Artists should have a strong classical and contemporary background, professional performance experience, and a passion for the creative process.
Dancers should have at least 3 years of professional dance company experience. Preference will be given to mid-career professional dancers. BIPOC dancers are encouraged to apply. Dancers must be able to work legally in the United States (U.S. citizen, permanent resident or currently holding an O-1 work visa) to be considered. We are unable to sponsor visas for foreign workers.
Dancers will be selected through a pre-application process. Each application will be reviewed on a rotating basis.
Candidates will be selected for auditions by invitation only and will be contacted via email if selected. Selected candidates will be notified by December 16, 2024.
