Martina Griewank A. is looking for a talented and passionate contemporary dancer to perform “F(olha)/Leave” for an upcoming young audience.
“F(olha)/Leave” is a new dance theater work for young audiences (3.5 to 6 years old). The performance explores themes of nature, change, letting go and growth through movement, sustainable play and visual storytelling. It reveals the entire life cycle of a leaf and its similarities to human life, providing multiple layers of meaning for children and adults alike. F(Olha) inspires a deeper appreciation for leaves by encouraging viewers to observe (“olhar” in Portuguese), collect, listen, find connections and use leaves in creative ways.
Strong background in modern dance Ability and/or willingness to connect with young audiences Collaborative and willing to contribute to the creative process Availability to participate in the entire rehearsal and performance schedule (see below) Fluency in English; Portuguese proficiency preferred
