September 19, 2024 – xikai On their 26th date, a stop on their 25th anniversary tour, they performed at Webster Underground. The “New Reasons to Dream” tour kicked off in Georgia on May 2 and will end in New Hampshire on May 26. Their tour support for this tour is “Crobot” and “Chase the Comet”, while the local opening act for this show is “Bone Church”.
CKY’The debut album “Volume 1” (1999) was transferred to the 25th in February this year. This record contains xikai‘s signature single “96 Quite Bitter Beings”, a song made famous in the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 video game. current xikai The lineup included Chad I Ginsburg and Bam Margera’s brother, Jess Margera. Founding lead singer Deron Miller left the band in 2011, and Ginsberg currently serves as lead vocalist.
Bone Church, Formed in Connecticut in 2016, they grace the scene with their unique blend of heavy blues influenced by rock, doom, psychedelic and metal. Although I can’t find much information about the band online, they maintain a good following in the Connecticut scene, and after this show I can see why. Their energy was mesmerizing and immediately captivated the audience and myself. They played their set, all of which had the same elements of blues-influenced rock, creating a unique sound that you don’t hear in this area. Overall, Bone Church is a Connecticut band that I would recommend anyone who likes blues-style rock to check out.

Since then, they have performed at legendary Los Angeles venues such as Whiskey a Go-Go (opening for Michale Graves (ex-MISFITS) and Joe Lynn Turner (Deep Purple, Rainbow), Viper Room, Loaded Nika and Alex have also been comfortable on camera at events like the “Tattoo Expo” at the Pomona Fairgrounds, and have successfully competed on reality TV shows like “American Idol.”

During the show, the band truly proved their slogan: “We don’t have genres, we create moods.” After some technical difficulties, the band performed some of their biggest hits, “Rage Inside” and “Hero,” delivering a high-energy performance. Each song tells its own story, and each song has Nika’s own fun little dance moves. The audience seemed to enjoy the energy of the entire show, with many fans even signing autographs throughout
Krobot Formed in Pottsville, Pennsylvania in 2011 and quickly gained attention for their fusion of hard rock, funk and metal. Their raw sound, coupled with Brandon Yeagley’s powerful vocals and the band’s infectious energy, helped them stand out in the rock world. Influenced by bands such as Led Zeppelin and Clutch, they have created a unique style that appeals to both classic rock and modern metal fans. Crobot’s ability to blend heavy riffs with groove-driven beats makes them a vital force in today’s hard rock renaissance.
Crobot’s show was a wild ride of high-energy rock and metal, filled with eccentric flair that made the small venue feel electric. From the moment the band took the stage to open with the song “Metal,” the room was immediately filled with heavy, punchy riffs and an undeniable sense of excitement. The lead singer held the audience’s attention, constantly performing crazy microphone tricks and rocking the mic stand like it was part of the performance itself.

The entire show was like a carefully orchestrated storm, with the band feeding off the audience’s energy and feeding it right back. Every song had the audience shaking their heads. The mood shifted slightly to something more raw and emotional as they closed with “Without Wings,” providing the perfect end to an unforgettable night. The combination of technical brilliance, quirky showmanship and audience participation makes this one of those rare shows that still keeps you pumped long after the lights come up.
xikaiWebster Underground’s performances are filled with pure energy, blending gritty rock with the quirky style they’re known for. The band opened with “Rio Bravo” which immediately set the tone for the evening, with the crowd rapt and chanting every word. Songs like “96 Quite Bitter Beings” and “Flesh into Gear” got the room shaking, while “Head For A Breakdown” kept the momentum going. xikaiThe connection with the audience was incredible; they transformed this intimate venue into a full-blown rock party.

Known for their involvement in the Jackass series and their work with Bam Margera, their blend of hard rock, stoner metal, and experimental sounds makes them stand out. throughout their careers, xikai have maintained a loyal fan base, in part due to their ability to evolve while maintaining their core sound.
Their setlist is drawn from their discography, showcasing tracks from earlier releases while mixing in new material from their 2017 album Phoenix. The band’s onstage chemistry, especially with long-time members Jess Margera and Chad I Ginsburg, is palpable, proving they’re as tight-knit as ever. xikai Still a force in rock music, blending nostalgia with fresh energy that leaves fans wanting more.
