Temperatures in Austin dropped below 80 degrees last week—a totally cause for celebration. While the Texas summer heat hasn’t been as severe this year, I’m still tired of sweating whenever I step outside. Luckily we are on the cusp of fall and I embody this sentiment in every aspect of my life. Lately, you can find me in the office playing fall jazz while working or shopping for my family’s first pumpkin. If you, too, are ready to head into fall but don’t know where to start, look no further. Trader Joe’s Fall 2024 collection is here.
A visit to Trader Joe’s in the fall is a transformative experience. Sometimes it can be challenging to find everything you need, fight the crowds, and stay within your budget. Still, the effort is worth it. There are tons of great options beyond this list, and luckily, Trader Joe’s is implementing cute fall holiday price tags on all of its seasonal products this year, making it even easier to find, shop, and purchase.
11 items that Trader Joe’s has in stock this fall
Pumpkin, cinnamon and pumpkin, oh my! These Trader Joe’s Fall 2024 picks are everything we hoped for and more. This list features new foods and classic repeats that we all know and love. Take note of your favorites and use this list as a reference for your next shopping trip.
1. Gluten-Free Pumpkin Pie Spice Bagels
Last year, my obsession with Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Bagels went a little crazy. Especially when paired with pumpkin cream cheese sauce (unfortunately, my Trader Joe’s ran out quickly), these gluten-free bagels are just as good as the standard version. These bagels also taste great with just a little melted butter and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
2. Cinnamon Bun Dip
I will never get tired of this cinnamon bun dip. This popular product from last year can be used as a spread for pancakes, waffles, oatmeal and even vanilla ice cream, as a syrup substitute or just as an extra topping. It has a warm, rich flavor. Trust me: a little goes a long way.
3. Pumpkin ginger mini grip tube
Mini Hold The Cone’s are always a delicious dessert at Trader Joe’s. These Pumpkin Ginger Cones have an incredible flavor that goes perfectly with the season. The ginger flavor in the cone is not overpowering and complements the deliciously spiced pumpkin ice cream.
4. Non-Dairy Pumpkin Oat Drink
In the fall, I usually stock up on enough pumpkin oat milk to last me through the winter. Froth or heat this milk to make it perfect with your morning latte or your choice of cereal. If you’re using oat milk in your recipe, this fall version can also be used as a substitute to add a unique, sweet pumpkin flavor.
5. Pumpkin soup
Served with Gouda Grilled Cheese or on its own, this pumpkin bisque is one of my go-tos this fall. As a gumbo connoisseur, I love the subtle blend of spices and savory flavors that come with this textured gumbo.
6. Pumpkin Body Cream
I’ve been an avid follower of Trader Joe’s body butters for years, and the Cocoa Shea Body Butter remains a firm favorite. However, this pumpkin body butter rivals the classics. This lotion has the perfect texture – not too heavy, but still soft and easy to apply. The pumpkin scent also doesn’t smell too artificial or overpowering.
7. Pumpkin Brioche
On my way out of Trader Joe’s, I happened upon a pumpkin brioche in the bread aisle. This seasonal bread pairs perfectly with cinnamon buns and can be used as an alternative to sweet French toast.
8. Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew Concentrate
Coffee lovers, this one is for you! Less is more with this Pumpkin Cold Brew Concentrate. I like to mix it with a little water and milk of your choice and add a little vanilla or caramel syrup for sweetness. It has a strong flavor, and if you’re sensitive, I highly recommend checking the caffeine content before pouring a full cup of coffee.
9. Pumpkin Gnocchi
This might be my favorite Fall 2024 piece from Trader Joe’s that I’ll definitely be stocking up on before winter. This gnocchi makes a super quick lunch or dinner, slathered with brown butter, cinnamon, and a touch of sage, along with your choice of protein. The key here is not to overcook the gnocchi so it stays firm and doesn’t become mushy.
10. Butternut Squash Mac and Cheese
A new sibling to the cult-favorite Butternut Squash Mac and Cheese, these mac and cheese are absolutely delicious. These are perfect for afternoon tea or as a simple appetizer before dinner.
11. Gluten-Free Pumpkin Pancake Mix
This pumpkin pancake mix isn’t quite like Camille’s incredible recipe, but these are a delicious and spiced option when you need a quick snack in the morning. Trader Joe’s never fails to live up to my expectations in the baked goods department, and these are no exception.
