The rapper came to Atlantic City on Sunday to host the grand opening of the sportsbook at the Ocean Casino Resort…and took out a giant pair of scissors and cut off the giant blue ribbon. Betting & Gaming CEO Matt King and Ocean Casino Resort General Manager Bill Callahan also attended the event.

The opening ceremony attracted some of the sport’s major stars… including golfers Justin Thomas He placed the first bet in the book—$100—for Alabama to win the NCAA football national championship.
Quavo, Jalen Rose, Dez Bryant and Ryan Clark Also attended the opening ceremony.
Of course, Jay-Z is involved in the gambling industry… just last year, he Wrote a letter to New York City Explaining why he wants to open a casino in the heart of Times Square – a joint venture between his company Roc Nation and Caesar’s Palace.
Just last month, Jay-Z announced that he would be integrating sports betting into his legacy 40/40 Club Opening a pop-up shop during Fanatics Fest in New York… So, Jay’s been into gambling lately.

By the way, fans can watch the games in comfort… enjoy The Gallery, which features an elevated bar and lounge with seating for 60 people, surrounded by slot machines, table games and more. One of the featured attractions is the Fanatics sportsbook on The Gallery casino floor.
