The controversial music mogul filed an emergency motion Thursday asking to put the massive verdict on hold… The plaintiffs said, Derek Lee Cardero Smith, A lawsuit was never filed against him — and he didn’t know he’d have to deal with it until news media began reporting on the verdict.
It’s worth noting… Diddy’s attorneys aren’t just trying to dismiss the case for failing to properly serve him, but wholeheartedly deny all wrongdoing. “These seemingly unbelievable accusations are completely fabricated,” they said.
Even if the allegations are true – and Diddy’s lawyers again say they are not – they say the statute of limitations expired nearly 17 years ago.
Diddy’s team also blasted the lawsuit as frivolous… because they say the person filing it is a convicted rapist who lied about all the allegations in the suit. They also claim he has a history of filing lawsuits that courts have deemed frivolous.

The judge set a payment schedule – $10 million per month starting October 1.
