Los Angeles (CelebrityAccess) – Island Records Promoted Jackie Winkler Promoted to Senior Vice President (SVP), Head of A&R, she will lead the brand’s A&R department, focusing on the signing and creative development of its lineup. Winkler signed Sabrina Carpenter In 2020, worked closely with the singer on her album short and sweet, It topped the charts in 15 countries, including the United States and the United Kingdom. Winkler will be based in Los Angeles and report to Island Records co-CEO Imran Majeed and justin donkey. Winkler began her career at Warner Records, where by 2011 she was promoted from intern to A&R manager and discovered Andra Day. She joined Island Records in 2015 as Director of A&R and was promoted to Vice President of A&R in 2022.
