Sid Wilson details burn pile, still performing Sunday

Sid WilsonRight back on the horse… says he won’t miss Slipknot’s gig this Sunday – although he’s still dazed from a really bad campfire.

The Slipknot DJ discussed his recent close encounter with a fire on “TMZ Live” Friday severe burns His arms and face in Iowa… told us he wasn’t taking the proper safety precautions he should have.

Wilson said he knew about keeping gas cans away from fire sources, parking vehicles away from flames and many other fire safety tips…but, he was too impatient and didn’t keep enough distance.

Sid said it was a bad move… as the fire burned him, resulting in the star driving himself to the emergency room while he watched the skin peel off his arms.

We thought Sid would have to skip his next show with the band…but, he told us that’s not the case – he’ll be performing with the band on Sunday instead.

As for how he managed to put on his iconic mask while still suffering from severe burns on his face, SW said a bunch of gel was used to make sure nothing stuck and he should be good to go.

Sid’s long-term girlfriend Kelly Osbourne … Gave him a lot of crap By the way, she blew herself up… saying that’s why people shouldn’t “f**k up with bonfires” – however, Sid said she took very good care of him afterwards.
