LONDON (CelebrityAccess) – Veteran facilities manager Mark Lynch has been appointed director of London’s famed Wembley Stadium.
“Wembley Stadium is an iconic venue recognized around the world. It has a history of hosting the biggest and best sports, music and entertainment events and I look forward to continuing this work during the next stage of the venue’s development,” Lynch said.
In his new role at Wembley, he will oversee event production at the 90,000-capacity sports and entertainment stadium and manage day-to-day operations, including sales and revenue generation.
Lynch most recently served as Executive Director of Twickenham Stadium Venues, overseeing operations and was a member of the Rugby League executive team.
Past positions include Director of Operations at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi and Assistant Coordinator with FIFA during the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
