LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) – United Talent Agency has announced the launch of a dedicated Christian music division.
The new division will be led by Jonathan Roberts, an industry veteran specializing in Christian music who joined the agency in May.
“UTA is deeply committed to the growth of the Christian music sector,” said Scott Clayton, UTA partner and co-head of UTA’s music sector. “We’re leveraging the full strength of the agency and bringing together agents inspired by the genre and its connection with fans.”
UTA said the new division will serve as an extension of UTA’s Heartland program, which was founded in 2020 by UTA agent Nick Barnes and uses the company’s network to create new opportunities for clients, from brand collaborations to music crossovers.
The new division reflects UTA’s greater focus on Christian music, as well as the expansion of the agency’s roster, which includes Brandon Lake, recently signed Paul Wickham and most recently Billboard Artists like Forrest Frank, No. 1 Best New Christian Artist of 2024.
UTA’s other clients in the Christian music space include Lecrae, Elevation Rhythm, Mosaic MSC, bodie, Sam Rivera and gio.
“We are witnessing an unprecedented moment in the music industry, where Christian music is resonating with a wider audience,” Roberts said. “UTA’s roster of Christian artists reflects the growing demand for the genre, and we are excited to be a part of this exciting time with these artists.”
