Is Travis Kelce making his music video debut?
In an emotional moment, Swift broke her silence to describe a foiled terror plot against her concert.
She also released the official music video for “I Can Do It With A Broken Heart,” which features behind-the-scenes footage from her historic Eras tour.
Is it really Travis? What does this mean for the future of the celebrity power couple?
Travis Kelce appears in “Can I Do Things With a Broken Heart” music video?
Swifties around the world are speculating that there’s more to Taylor’s “I Can Do It With A Broken Heart” music video than just her backup dancers, crew, and other rehearsal staff.
One moment in the music video shows Taylor’s dancers on the floor. In the background, a man appears to be sitting at a desk.
According to many of Swift’s fans, that person could be Travis Kelce. If fans find this out, his inclusion is likely a very deliberate choice.
On Twitter and elsewhere, Taylor Swift fans were quick to highlight what some called “Travis Kelce’s music video debut.”
Another joked on Twitter using sports jargon: “Travis Kelce made it into a Taylor Swift music video during his rookie year?”
Travis Kelce is clearly no newcomer to the game of football. However, this is the first year of his relationship with Taylor Swift.
Is that really Travis Kelce?
To be clear, there is no actual evidence that Travis Kelce is an admittedly obscure background figure in the music video.
Yes, his hairstyle and facial hair structure appear to be similar to what he had for much of the Eras tour. The figure also appears to be similar in size to Kells.
Uncredited appearances – even for big-name actors in big movies – happen all the time.
However, Travis Kelce played more than just Taylor’s Himbo boyfriend during her Eras World Tour.
Back in June, Travis took to the stage for a transition skit while performing at London’s Wembley Arena.
Kelce’s involvement was certainly well-received. Live audiences and Swifties around the world found his participation charming.
Does this mean future collaboration?
To be clear, there’s really no reason to believe that Travis Kelce’s music video debut is a sign of things to come.
Yes, Travis wants to join her on stage in London in June. But that doesn’t necessarily mean he’s focused on performing for an audience (when he’s not on the football field).
Travis Kelce appears in concert skits and (possibly) in the background of music videos, kind of like celebrities bringing their dogs out to show off to fans. Well, in Taylor’s case, it’s more likely to be a cat.
Meanwhile… Travis Kelce’s fame means his career includes more than just pitching. Or catch the ball. We mean, no matter what he did for the Kansas City Chiefs.
Jason Kelce plays himself (or a hallucination of himself) It’s always sunny in Philadelphia. Travis Kelce could, and likely will, guest star in a similar role in the years to come.
He’s also likely to appear in more of Taylor’s music videos and other projects. But that will depend on a number of factors, including their respective schedules and how long the relationship ultimately lasts.
