LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Audio Chateau Records, the new label from Jared Gutstadt’s entertainment company Audio Up Media, announced it has raised $4.5 million in funding from investors including Glen Barros, Gillian Hormel and Jonathan Schulman.
As part of the investment, Exceleration Music’s managing partners Barros and Schulman will join the label’s first appointed board members.
Additionally, Audio Chateau has announced that Grayson Flatness has joined the brand as A&R consultant, while industry veteran Kate London has been appointed head of legal and commercial affairs, overseeing the business in addition to her current role overseeing Audio’s business and legal affairs and legal transactions.
Since launching in January, Audio Chateau has assembled a lineup that includes regional Mexican performer Grupo Linea, comedic country star Uncle Drank, Randy Savvy of the Compton Cowboys, Maejor Audio Sunshine, British singer-songwriter Bipolar Sunshine and Jared Gutstadt.
The latter project grew out of the Audio Up wellness podcast series “Psychedelic Frequencies,” which was created by Gutstadt and Maejor and won the 2024 ADWEEK Audio Awards in the Best Culture Podcast category.
