Yes, again.
After weeks of rumors and hints, Jennifer Lopez has finally filed for divorce from Ben Affleck.
This means that, for the second time this decade, he finds himself single after his marriage to a woman named Jennifer failed.
Why is he here again? What happened? Or is he just cursed to never find love from Jenny down the block?
Ben Affleck divorce: He’s been here before
In the weeks leading up to the official announcement, things were clearly not going well for Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck.
In a recent headline about the couple, TMZ wrote that divorce was “inevitable.”
“They are ready to throw in the towel. The divorce papers are complete and ready to be filed.
Sadly, not only is this the second time Bennifer has tried to make a marriage work – and failed – but this is the second time Ben has made a marriage work, period.
Ben and Jennifer Garner have been a Hollywood couple for over a decade. The two eventually married in 2005 and had three children. The oldest child, Violet, is about to begin her freshman year at Yale University. There are even photos of the two moving her into the dormitory.
However, the two couldn’t make the show work as a couple and announced their split in 2015.
He had a few flings, but later got serious with the woman he loved – Jennifer Lopez – before marrying Garner.
Therefore, he seemed destined to love a woman named Jane forever. Or maybe, not so much.
Bennifer 2.0 crumbles under pressure
While neither Alfred nor Lopez have spoken publicly about the status of their marriage, all the signs that their marriage is over are there.
In June, a source told People that they “don’t have any summer plans together” and are “focused on their separate lives.”
Lopez then celebrated her birthday without her husband present. A few weeks ago she was on vacation alone.
But everything really came to a head in the spring when many insiders tell us people Afo and Lopez began to grow apart amid romantic tensions.
“Ben continues to live in [a] Brentwood Rentals. He has been there for about two months,” People previously reported.
“He seems fine. He’s in the office every day and seems focused on his work. He also spends time with his children.
It took three months, but new circumstances finally emerged in August, when the actress personally filed the necessary legal documents in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
She listed the date of their separation as April 26, a date that should be familiar to Bennifer fans everywhere. The filing date actually marks the second anniversary of Affleck and Lopez hosting a lavish reception for their loved ones in Georgia after tying the knot in Vegas.

So, Ben was alone again.
Sources confirmed TMZ Alfred has closed escrow on a Pacific Palisades mansion that was on the market for $20.5 million.
The new home has five beds and six baths…separate breakfast and dining areas…separate family room…den…walk-in closet…media room. …a dressing room…and a hotel.
Of course, the most notable thing is that only Affleck’s name is on the documents, meaning he bought the new home knowing full well he would never share it with Lopez.
Just about six weeks ago, Ben and Jen put their shared home on the market, just one of a long list of signs that the couple was about to file for divorce.
