NASHVILLE (CelebrityAccess) — Reach Music Publishing Inc. (Reach) has acquired certain publishing assets and songwriter shares from the multi-platinum award-winning songwriter Wyatt Durrettannounced today Michael KlosterPresident/Founder and Owner of Reach Music.
The acquisition includes rights to 29 Durrette products, with Reach also having global management rights to its share of these rights. The rights include Durette’s interest in songs he co-wrote with Zac Brown, such as the breakout hit “Chicken Fried” (9X RIAA Certified Platinum), as well as Zac Brown Band’s singles “Toes” and ” Whatever It Is” debut album, foundation.
In addition to Zac Brown, Durrette’s also co-wrote the single “Beautiful Crazy” with Luke Combs, which has been certified Diamond (10x Platinum) by the RIAA. The song is also included in the Reach acquisition.
Wyatt’s longtime publisher, Richard Blackstone A subsidiary of Blackstone Entertainment remains Durrette’s publisher and will jointly manage with Reach Music the selection of songs included in the Reach acquisition.

Shortly after Reach struck its deal with Durrette, the company also acquired a diverse catalog of classics, including most recently Judas Priest and Chuck D Public enemy.
