Originally from Yorkshire and now living in London, May entered the music industry in 2019 after quitting her full-time job to pursue her dream. May’s love and passion for music shines through her writing and unique voice, bringing a soulful and rich texture to her delivery that connects beautifully. Her influences range from Motown, soul and R&B, Prince Lauryn Hill and Al Green as some of her biggest influences. Her love for the genre inspired her sound, and she has been able to integrate it into the world of dance. With over 200 million streams on Spotify alone, Maye’s voice has undoubtedly been heard far and wide.
