Will Carrie Underwood’s divorce rate go down?
From Carrie Underwood’s storied music career to her horrific accident a few years ago, the country singer has fame and fans.
She also has a husband, Mike Fisher.
However, some are wondering if they’ll be together for much longer.
What could lead to Mike Fisher and Carrie Underwood’s divorce?
Carrie Underwood performed at a concert in Hawaii earlier this summer. It was a work trip, but she didn’t exactly keep it professional.
Husband Mike Fisher also tagged along. The idea was that it would also be a romantic getaway for the couple, who got married in 2010.
According to a recent report, tensions were brewing during the trip — Mike felt like he was being ignored by his country superstar wife.
global magazine Carrie Underwood’s focus on acting reportedly left Mike Fisher feeling “left out”.
“This was supposed to be a paradise vacation,” the insider said of the trip. We couldn’t help but recall that this trip was primarily a work trip.
“But she’s either working or working with her band,” the insider complained. “Mike felt left out.”
Mike Fisher reportedly feels marginalized
“Of course, she posed for photos with him,” the source later admitted.
“But,” the insider lamented, “she’s too busy working.”
If reports of their conflict are legitimate, that could be a long-term problem. Underwood will continue her Vegas residency later in August. Carrie Fisher’s divorce may be imminent if Fisher continues to feel like a secondary figure.
But Carrie Underwood won’t abandon her family. Mike Fisher and their children Isaiah, 9, and Jacob, 5, are traveling to the city to join her.
“Mike will go with her, but more as a nanny than a lover,” the insider said. “He longs for some alone time with his wife, but there aren’t many opportunities.”
“She always promised to make more time for him, but before long, she was back to a life centered around work or the kids, and Mike felt like he was stuck at the end,” the insider said.
Is Carrie Underwood’s divorce really happening?
The source later claimed: “Her friends are worried she’s damaging their marriage by not making enough time for romance.”
Plus, Carrie Underwood is set to take over Katy Perry’s career american idol (which appears to be part of a growing trend for country music to dominate these singing competitions) — may get her out of the house more.
Perhaps, if these tensions were real, they would find a solution. Fourteen years of marriage sounds like it’s worth fighting for, unless there are other issues at play. If Mike Fisher and Carrie Underwood divorce, they could find themselves starting over in life.
