KANSAS CITY (CelebrityAccess) – Alternative rock veterans Blink 182 have announced the cancellation of multiple shows due to illness.
In a statement announcing the schedule change, a rep for the band said: “Unfortunately, due to illness, we are unable to travel to Kansas City and St. Louis.”
The band later apologized for calling in sick, saying: “We’re very sorry and hope to see you next time.”
Affected performances include blink-182’s August 9 performance at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City and its August 10 performance at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis.
According to a statement from the band, the two performances will not be rescheduled, and fans who have purchased tickets will automatically be refunded.
Fans who purchased tickets from secondary market websites such as StubHub are advised to contact the point of purchase for refund information.
