LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) – Independent music publisher Prescription Songs has announced the addition of Los Angeles-based songwriter, producer and recording artist atlgrandma to the company’s roster.
atlgrandma, born Liam Hall, was a pioneer in Los Angeles’ left-field pop music community, which blended rock, rap, pop and dance music with weird music. As a producer, Hall has helped influence the sounds of artists such as Willow, SNOW WIFE, Dorian Electra, The Hellp, D4ine, Izzy Spears, Ericdoa and Frost Children, and he’s also frequently collaborated with pop greats Lil Aaron and Y2K.
His hits include “Even If We Don’t Get It Together” and 2022’s “Angelhood,” as well as his latest album, “Nightmare Blunt Rotation,” released on August 9.
Signed by atlgrandma are Prescription Songs A&R veterans Nick Guilmette and Shari Fitch.
“I’m excited to welcome atlgrandma to the Prescription family!” shares A&R Nick Guilmette’s Prescription Song. “He is an artist, producer and songwriter committed to breaking boundaries and I couldn’t be more excited to be a part of his journey to further greatness.”
“Liam is truly a special and rare talent,” added A&R colleague Shari Fitch. “Not only is he an extremely creative sound designer/producer/writer, he is also a unique artist. He has a deep understanding of music, which makes him perfect for working in the studio with a diverse range of artists. We We first met through our incredible writer/producer/artist, Lil Aaron, and have continued to develop our own relationship over the past few months. We are excited to have him join the Prescription family and continue to expand further. His creative pursuits span the fields of pop, rock, K-pop, and hip-hop.
