The Oscar winner paid tribute to the late black Labrador on her Instagram Story on Tuesday afternoon.
Witherspoon, 48, posted a photo of Hank sitting on the welcome mat at the front door and shared a special message in his memory.
“We will miss your sweet spirit, Hank,” Witherspoon wrote on the photo. “Thank you for being the best family pet and pack leader.”
Witherspoon, a vocal animal lover and animal activist, previously revealed that she named her beloved pup after country singer Hank Williams.

She wrote: “Our Sweet Pepper passed away yesterday. Oh my gosh, she was a devoted and devoted family member.
