Parks Jolie-Pitt is feeling better after a serious e-bike accident… and he has been moved out of intensive care and is now recovering, according to a new report.
Sources tell PEOPLE … Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s son suffered complex trauma in the accident, and although he’s been released from the ICU, he still has a long recovery ahead of him with physical therapy the road.
According to the media, Parks and Angelina stayed with their son around the clock at the hospital, thanking the doctors for the excellent medical care and thanking the first responders for their quick and life-saving measures.
As you may recall, TMZ broke the story… Parks was riding his e-bike without a helmet on the streets of Los Angeles on July 29 when he crashed into the back of a car idling at a red light.
Police sources tell us … the driver jumped out of the car to see if Parks was okay, but he wasn’t. The 20-year-old man suffered a head injury, possible bleeding on the brain and pain in his hip. Paramedics took Parks to the hospital for treatment.
Parks, the fourth of Angelina and Brad’s six children, is known to ride his e-bike without a helmet in Los Angeles. California helmet laws vary by bike class…so we’re not sure if the Pax needs a helmet for this particular ride.
Parks has also dabbled in movies, with a voice role in “Kung Fu Panda 3” and a small role in his mom’s Disney film “Maleficent.”
