Efron’s rep told TMZ The 36-year-old actor was taken to hospital in Ibiza as a precaution after a “minor swimming incident” at a villa on Friday night. The rep went on to tell the outlet that Efron was eventually discharged from the hospital on Saturday morning and is recovering well.
The outlet, citing sources, said it later updated the report to say two staff members at the villa found Efron in the swimming pool and pulled him from the water.
The Economic Times has contacted Efron’s representatives for comment.
