Drake Might want to stick with paid shows until further notice… because even in his hometown, it’s not always love.
Limp Bizkit performed in Toronto on Thursday night, and as a guest, the mere mention of Drizzy’s name riled up the local crowd…but things didn’t go over well as the crowd booed him.
Drake is never shown on stage in the video…but they definitely weren’t happy to hear he was in the building – which left Fred Durst Absolutely speechless.
He questioned the hatred, saying… “I thought Drake was your friend? What? No? Drake is my friend.”
The boos from the Toronto crowd began to intensify, with some fans even hurling profanities at him calling out “Drizzzy” again. As the air continued to sour, Fred remained unmoved, dedicating their next song, “Take a Look around,” to Champagne Daddy.
The ‘Hot Dogs’ all-star band is in town for the ‘Lotherville’ tour – and the tour also plays sports Improvisation, bone + Eddie Baker, N8NOFACEand Corey Feldman …if you can believe it.
Of course this isn’t the ideal lineup that would normally appeal to Drake fans…but being booed in your hometown certainly stung.
