MANFIELD, Ohio (CelebrityAccess) – The fourth annual Inkcarceration Music and Tattoo Festival sold out after more than 75,000 fans enjoyed three days of music, tattoos and haunted attractions.
The event, held July 19-21 at the historic Ohio State Correctional Facility in Mansfield, Ohio, features a lineup that includes Shinedown, Godsmack and Breaking Benjamin.
Produced by independent promoters Danny Wimmer Presents and Reinkcarceration LLC, the event will include exclusive performances by Halestorm and I Prevail, as well as guest appearances by Lzzy Hale and Eric Vanlerberghe on the set of their Can U See Me In The Dark?
Elsewhere, Cleveland metal band Chimaira took the stage at Inkcarceration on Friday night, their first U.S. festival appearance in more than a decade.
The Offspring, Bad Omens, Parkway Drive, Chevelle, Dropkick Murphys, Sleeping With Sirens, Killswitch Engage, Hollywood Undead, Machine Head, Sevendust and Of Mice & Men are performing live throughout the weekend.
Events for Inkcarceration 2024 include The Whiskey Bar presented by BLACKENED, Bud Light Seltzer, Middle West Spirits and Take Me Home, as well as programming for the festival campground including Rock Capitol Live Band Karaoke, a special screening of I Stand Alone: The ” documentary about the Sully Erna story and performances from Southbond Beretta, Hannan, Influence, Heathensun, The Convalescent, Fight from Within, The Behest of Serpents, Lydia Can’t Breathe, Zakk Cash and Titans in Time.
According to Danny Wimmer Presents, the festival will return in 2025, but the event date has not yet been announced.
