Kobe Bryant Fans have a chance to get their hands on a truly rare piece of memorabilia…the Black Mamba’s Staples Center locker – which could cost over a million dollars!
TMZ Sports It’s understood … the locker was originally destroyed during renovations at Staples Center in 2018, but was rescued by a maintenance worker who realized it belonged to the Hall of Famer.
The worker kept it in storage for many years until an American collector who owned the locker plate purchased it and reunited the two pieces.
We’re told the locker will be auctioned off by Sotheby’s and is expected to fetch up to $1.2 million… with a portion of the final bid going to charity.
“To continue Kobe Bryant’s philanthropic legacy and community impact, a portion of the proceeds from the sale will directly benefit the Los Angeles Lakers Youth Foundation,” Sotheby’s told us.

He last appeared on an NBA court on April 16, 2003, when the Wizards played the Philadelphia 76ers. He scored 15 points in that game.
