NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — Royalty-free sample repository Splice has announced the hiring of music industry veteran Kenny Ochoa as senior vice president of content.
In his new role, Ochoa will oversee Splice’s global content team, work to expand the company’s library of royalty-free samples, develop and maintain relationships with artists, and oversee industry outreach initiatives.
Ochoa will report directly to Splice CEO Kakul Srivastava.

Prior to joining Spice, Ochoa served as head of music programming and licensing at Snap, where he oversaw music programming and programming in the U.S. and elsewhere. His resume also includes senior positions at Warner Bros. Records, Sony Music Entertainment and Sanctuary Records Group’s Sync division.
