Thomas Matthew Crooks Obviously practice seriously on the shooting range before trying to kill someone Donald Trump — because now we know how bad his marksmanship was in high school, and why he didn’t make the rifle team.

TMZ spoke to sources directly familiar with Crooks’ attempt to join Bethel Park High School’s team, and we’re told his performance on the shooting range was disastrous…sometime between 2018 and 2019. caused him Didn’t make the team.

Our sources – people who know Crooks – tell us he’s not just a bad shooter… he’s a complete mess with his firearms, which was revealed when he accidentally shot into a completely different lane than his own Proven.

We learned that Crooks was participating in a practice match (as a tryout) and when he tried to shoot at a target 107 feet away, he ended up hitting someone else’s target to his left.

Our sources saw him missing out on such a serious opportunity and told us that’s why he didn’t get a spot in the team.

That’s why another former classmate said they were surprised Crooks came so close to taking down Trump — he just So bad years ago.

One can surmise from this that the guy has clearly gotten better in the years since this bad exercise, as he was within an inch of taking out the previous president.

Another source (also knowledgeable about Crooks’ failed selection) told us that he could barely hit any of the 10 targets on the 10×12 paper – and at one point, he either accidentally shot down or Forgot which goal was his and saw someone else’s.

And this…we were told that other rifle team members would make fun of Crooks behind his back because of his lack of skills, but no one witnessed him being Totally bullied …as some reports claim.

It’s worth noting that our sources all say he didn’t show any aggression and was just a socially awkward kid.
