McCluck say people are sleeping Kevin Costner’s new movie Legend… tells us the film is a return to classic Hollywood and a departure from the “garbage” TikTok generation.
We caught up with Michael, who stars in Kevin’s new epic Horizon: An American Legend – Chapter 1, at LAX and our photographer asked him about the film’s box office underperformance.
Michael believes one of the reasons Kevin’s movie only made $11 million last weekend is because people today are used to social media shorts and 90-minute movies… rather than real, high-quality movies with deep characters and rich storylines movie of.
“Horizon” is three hours long, but Michael said people need to wake up and watch the movie because it is “a real movie… not TikTok garbage.”
Kevin himself is heavily invested in the film, and Michael says it might just be a slow process… There are three more parts coming, with the second of them coming soon in August.
As if Kevin’s Yellowstone fans haven’t given him a ton of box office support yet… Michael also had a message for those who were upset about KC leaving the show.
