AUSTIN, Texas (CelebrityAccess) — While registration for next year’s SXSW doesn’t officially open until August, the annual music conference and festival announced that it is now accepting applications for SXSW 2025 participation categories, including PanelPicker session proposals, festival showcase artists, and two Two tech-focused competitions: SXSW Promotion Awards and Innovation Awards.
SXSW’s PanelPicker is the official conduit for conference users to generate conference proposals, inviting the community to submit ideas for conferences and presentations in 2025.
PanelPicker entries will be accepted in a two-step process, with group ideas submitted between June 25 and July 21, 2024, and then voted on by community members from August 6 to 18, 2024.
Showcase proposals (fee is $35) will be accepted from June 25 to August 31, with a late registration window open from September 1 to midnight PST on October 31.

Signed and unsigned artists

Every invited performance is guaranteed an official SXSW performance
Demonstration slot machines operate for an average of 40 minutes (some exceptions may apply)
The showcase will take place between March 10 and 15, 2025
SXSW does not cover artist travel or lodging expenses
Some display cabinets may not provide rear rows
