This is a bit unexpected. Piers Morgan is legitimately controversial, but he’s historically been more angry with Meghan Markle than Kate.
Did his comments about Kate cross a line?
Or is this one of those extremely rare instances of Piers Morgan making a point?

Kate fueled conspiracy theories in March when she revealed she had cancer after months of extreme secrecy, royal dishonesty and ultimately a photo manipulation debacle.
Like her father-in-law, King Charles, she has acknowledged that she has cancer and is undergoing treatment. Ostensibly, these are preventive treatments, taken only out of an abundance of caution.
Piers Morgan had two major points of comment after Kate Middleton made a surprise public appearance at the Trooping the Color parade despite undergoing cancer treatment and recovering.
The first is that she “looks thin.” Some people see the comment as body-shaming; Others thought he was speculating about her health and prognosis.
The latter is probably more likely, as Morgan went on to elaborate on his second point: He thinks Kate should share exactly what type of cancer she has.
Why does Piers Morgan want Kate Middleton to reveal her exact diagnosis?
In short, the infamous TV personality says Kate has the potential to help others get screened for cancer before it’s too late.
For example, when a celebrity shares that he or she has prostate or breast cancer, it can raise awareness. Sometimes, as silly as it sounds, hearing that a famous person is sick brings to mind extreme horror Our own mortality.
The Princess of Wales is likely to become the face of the campaign. Whether it’s screening for the cancer she’s fighting or another disease, efforts like this can save lives. Even as doctors were working to save Kate’s life.
Of course, as often happens when Piers Morgan speaks, a lot of people were very unhappy about it. This includes people who generally like Morgan (or, more accurately, people who like his vicious insanity towards Meghan Markle).
Has Piers Morgan gone too far? After all, Kate is a cancer patient. Surely she allows for some level of privacy, right?
Or…we really hate to bring this up, but it’s worth considering: What if Piers Morgan is right about something? This happens from time to time.

Many people have suggested that Kate Middleton is a public person, but not public property. Even though she is married into a family that extracts tens of millions of dollars a year from the British public to live on, some of the medical information is of no concern to anyone.
However, Morgan made an argument: What if going public with her diagnosis could save lives? (Which seems possible…although we have to wonder why his attention is focused on Kate rather than King Charles, as the same argument certainly applies)
Perhaps the final point is that Piers Morgan doesn’t need to comment on how thin Kate Middleton is. Even if he is ostensibly discussing her health, he should remain silent. We all know Morgan loves body shaming, but that’s a pathology on his part and shouldn’t be anyone else’s problem.
