Alpharetta, Ga. (CelebrityAccess) — Country Legend willie nelson This weekend, he pulled out of the touring Outlaw Music Festival in Georgia just hours before he was scheduled to take the stage.
Nelson’s team announced Friday that the 91-year-old performer will not appear during Outlaw Country’s Alpharetta stop due to illness.
“We regret to inform you that Willie Nelson is not feeling well and, per doctor’s orders, he has been advised to rest for the next four days. He is expected to make a quick recovery and join the Outlaw Music Festival Tour next week.
According to the statement, the show will go on with scheduled performances by Bob Dylan, Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, Celis and Lucas Nelson and the Family Band, who will be recovering at Willie Nelson A selection of classic hits will be performed.
The concert at Ameris Bank Ampitheatre in Alpharetta kicked off Blackbird Presents’ Outlaw Country Music Festival 2024 tour.
Nelson will also miss the tour’s Saturday at the PNC Bank Pavilion in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Sunday at Coastal Credit Union Music Park in Raleigh, North Carolina.
