Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard are celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary with another honeymoon!
Dillard’s marriage remains strong, although Jill and Derek remain estranged from some of her more toxic relatives.
Apparently, the infamous cult rules make it clear that marriage is an eternal commitment. But Jill and Derek also experienced a lot of Together.
Although the loss was a painful memory, they celebrated this marital milestone with a second honeymoon.
Today is Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard’s 10th wedding anniversary!
Derick Dillard shared a caption on his Instagram page on Friday, June 21 – a tribute to his wife and their marriage.
“Happy 10th wedding anniversary to the love of my life @jillmdillard,” he began his caption.
“The last ten years have been a wild ride,” Derek admits. “And we’ve been through a lot.”
“But,” Derek continued, “I don’t want anyone around me.”
On top of all of Josh’s public scandal, his trial, her estrangement from her horrific father, and more, Jill and Derek were grieving a stillbirth.
He said to Jill: “Not only are you my wife, you are also my best friend.”
Derek shares he ended Jill’s second honeymoon
“It was nice to get away for a few days,” Derek said.
He wrote that he and Jill had left “on my most anticipated vacation since our honeymoon.”
Derek Dillard then signed the caption, affirming: “I will always love you.”

Ecclesiastes 4:9 quotes a passage from the Christian holy book, the Bible, which reads: “Two are better than one, for their labor is well rewarded.” Another translation is: “For They can help each other succeed.”
Also, Proverbs 31 is a longer scripture. While parts of the section contain misogynistic warnings, Derek may have been referring to something about how a “good wife” is “far more valuable” than jewelry. Some translations specify than ruby.
“Wow,” Jill wrote on Instagram, along with some emotional emojis. “Thank you for being a great friend during my downtime!”
She also shared Derick’s post on her Instagram Story, writing, “I will always love you.”
While his post was relatively short and hers even briefer, we’re sure the in-person celebration was more important. Jill and Derek are clearly enjoying their tenth wedding anniversary.
