Tyler Wiley — an actor and former sumo wrestler best known for his recurring role on “Hawaii Five-0” — has died.
According to a local media anchor in Hawaii korean tv — who described Taylor as a family friend… Taylor died Thursday. KITV did not provide a cause of death.

television producer Peter M. Lenkov Confirming the news on his official Instagram account… posted a photo with Wily behind the scenes of the TV show and told his fans that he was “heartbroken” by the news.
Lenkov said he will provide more details in the coming days … but he is too emotional right now to discuss the death of his old friend.
TW–born Tyra Tully — began working as a sumo wrestler in the late 1980s and became a rare example of an American joining the prestigious Japanese sport, reportedly amassing a record of 57-27-14 over the next two years.
Wily also fought in another arena…against an opponent in the then-new UFC 1, and, he was actually the first fighter to lose a UFC fight.
Taylor’s acting career didn’t really begin until the mid-2000s… when he got his breakout role as Kemo in the movie “Kemo.” Jason Segel The movie “Forgetting Sarah Marshall.”
Two years later, he played criminal informant Kamekona Tupuola in Five-0, a role he played in 171 episodes. He reprized the role in the TV series Macgyver and Magnum PI
Taylor is survived by his wife; halo and their two children.
He is 56 years old.
