But what about in the end? For Sister Wives star Kristen Brown?
It’s all worth it.
Earlier this week, Brown reflected on how far she’s come and how it all led to a marriage that makes her feel like the luckiest woman alive.
In a photo uploaded to Instagram on June 17, the 52-year-old shared a photo of her and husband David Woolley enjoying a quiet evening while admiring the sunset.
“Every step of my journey has brought me here,” Brown wrote on a photo of the couple with their backs to the camera.
“Watching the sunset with my eternal love, grateful for every moment that has led us to this wonderful beginning. #NewlyMarried #SunsetViews #GratefulHeart.
What a lovely tribute.
Christine and David married in October 2023, about a year and a half after going public with their relationship.
They met on a dating app and Kristen ended her spiritual union with Kody Brown a few months ago.
Is her relationship with Woolley perfect? No, would it be too messy? Yes, Kristen admitted it. But she was really, really happy. it’s clear.
In September 2023, the mother of six told People magazine that her current spouse “has more integrity than anyone I know. He built his career while being a single dad, so this is a great opportunity for him.” That means everything.
Kristen seemed to attack Cody, then said:
“His promise is his contract and means everything to him… If he says he’s going to do it, he’s going to do it.
“At his core, he’s a phenomenal guy. He’s outstanding. I just feel like I hit a gold mine. I hit the lottery with him.
Kristen has also said in the past that she had no idea life could be so “simple.”
As you might expect, when you’re one of four sister wives, things can get a little complicated.
“I didn’t know I was going to find my soul mate. I totally found my soul mate. He was totally my soul mate and I didn’t even know it,” Brown previously added, noting:
“I had a lot of complications and he loved me – that was the best thing.”
As for Woolley?
He’s already appeared on Sister Wives and will essentially be a main cast member in Season 19.
“He shows his emotions,” Woolley told Cody’s Sister Wives reunion host Suki Krishnan last year, emphasizing:
“A lot. Sometimes you have to not – but that’s who he is. That’s who he is and I can’t say anything different.
Viewers can tell that David was watching his words carefully to make sure no Excessive rocking of any vessel. Not to cause any controversy.
