It’s not every day that Prince William saves his mother-in-law from disaster. Let alone in public.
Many are more hopeful about Kate Middleton’s long-term prospects after her surprise appearance at the Trooping the Color parade.
Even so, she spent a lot of time resting — and spending time with her family. These include her own parents, Michael and Carole Middleton.
When disaster struck Carol, her son-in-law William stepped in and saved the day.
Who would consider William a hero?
On June 19, Prince William attended the Royal Ascot Jockey Club. At times, his schedule seems indistinguishable from the royal schedule of five centuries ago (except for the shorter travel times).
He is not alone. He was also joined by his mother-in-law, Carole Middleton, and his father-in-law, Michael Middleton. This is where mini-disasters happen.
Carole Middleton got her heel stuck in the grass during this event.
In fact, the shoe completely fell off her foot. It’s embarrassing, but it can also be dangerous. If you know someone who had to be hospitalized due to an injury caused by slipping and falling on grass, you don’t need us to tell you that.
Luckily, William was there – or perhaps on foot – and ran to her rescue.
Prince William has done this before
Specifically, William held his mother-in-law Carol’s hand as she put her shoes back on. The two seemed to be laughing at that time, people Report. So, thankfully, it doesn’t sound like the shoe crisis is causing issues like ankle injuries.
It’s worth noting that this is nothing new for William.
He had previously performed the same service for Carol’s daughter Kate.
Back in 2013, Kate – then just a duchess – was in trouble. Her shoe incident was not on the grass, but in the grate.
This is at the St. Patrick’s Day Parade of the Irish Guards.
At the time, Prince William helped his wife escape from the grate and provided her with physical support. Yo!
If you want to know what Prince William wears
William had to wear a top hat when hanging out with his in-laws.
While the Prince of Wales could play the “Hat Man” well, in this case he was dressed in this zany style to comply with the region’s dress code. These include vests and ties.
All to watch the horses run. Toast Doshima is a charming place.
