Steps to learn Bachata as a beginner
According to Wikipedia, the basic steps of Bachata are performed by moving in a small square – side, side, forward, then tap with the toes, then side, side, back, tap. They say the steps were inspired by the basic steps of the bolero, but evolved over time to include taps and steps between beats. This helps dancers express the more energetic music typically played.
