What’s better than sharing your favorite things with people? I’m a big fan of hosting Favorite Things Parties – for many reasons. That said, I love how they really work for any type of group: friends you’ve known forever, groups of acquaintances, coworkers, family, you name it. It’s a fun way to get to know someone, share what you love, and take home some vetted and approved goodies for you to enjoy.

What is a “Favorite Things Party”?
Before we start discussing gifts, let’s quickly explain this concept. The favorite party is to share happiness and discover new treasures. In such a party, each guest usually carries many of their favorite items within the set budget range. Then the guests exchange these items so that everyone will go home with new favorite things!
When you leave, you will receive a variety of your favorite new products, which is a good way to discover the products that your friends trust. Here’s how it works:
- Each guest may bring 3-5 fixed-price gifts (for example, under $20).
- Count the gifts and put the number of each gift into the hat (for example, if six people each brought three gifts, you would write the numbers 1-18 on separate pieces of paper).
- Draw the number of gifts you bring on the paper (for example, if you bring three gifts, draw three numbers).
- Talk around and talk about what you like most and why -sell sales!
- Starting from the first one, take turns to choose items from a bunch of gifts until all gifts were taken away.
Tips for Choosing Your Favorite Perfect Party Favors
- Stay within the agreed-upon budget to ensure fairness for all involved.
- Choose items that truly bring you joy—authenticity is key!
- Choosing a wide range of attractive things can increase the opportunity to please others.
- Consider packing your gifts in a creative and reusable way to get extra special feelings.
Now, let’s discuss some thoughtful and flattering gifts!
in conclusion
The beauty of a favorite things party is the personalization of the gifts and the joy of discovery. Whether you choose something practical, indulgent or creative, the most important thing is to share what makes you happy. Happy gift giving!
