The creator of “Slow Horse” – also named Will Smith — had just won an Emmy for writing the series … and, when he stepped up to the microphone, he couldn’t help but mention the most famous names and his own. ‘
“First relax, despite my name, I come with peace,” Smith said.
Will’s joke got the crowd laughing, and then he started saying thank you… so it seems like it wasn’t too late for Smith to tell the joke – even though it did happen about two and a half years ago.
Apparently, WS is referring to movie star Will Smith slap chris rock CR at the 2022 Oscars after joking about Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith.
The viral moment shocked the world and made Will the butt of jokes for months… and even saw him ostracized from Hollywood at one point.

A lot has happened since then… Jada and Will admit they are actually estranged Before he played Chris and Will’s Bad Boys 4, he had been playing broke out this summershowing that people have moved on from the bad taste left by the slap.
It looks like the jokes are still going around the crowd… as long as Will Smith says them, we think.
