We caught up with “The Iceman” at LAX this week to get his thoughts on McGregor’s desire. run for officeand whether he sees a world where Connor can actually win.
“He’s a fighter, he’s a champion,” Liddell said. “You have that kind of leadership. I don’t know what his politics are, I don’t know what his things are, but you have that drive.”
It’s not hard to imagine McGregor finding some support in his home country. He is one of the most famous athletes in the world. But Liddell said getting the votes doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll be qualified for the job.
“Just because I’m a good fighter, doesn’t mean I can run my friend’s company. I know they’re good at what they do and I can’t do it, but they can’t do what I do either . [he can] Get the votes and see what he can do.
