Taylor Swiftrecognition Kamala Harris That didn’t bring about change for all of her fervently loyal fans — some Swifties are still sticking to their original plans to vote Donald Trump.
Following the singer’s announcement following Tuesday night’s presidential debate, we spoke to 10 Gen Z Swifties who will be voting for the first time in this election.

As expected, some expressed support for Harris and her running mate, Tim Waltzciting Taylor’s endorsement.
Two of them admitted they were waiting to see who Taylor would support because they idolize her and care about her opinion.
Of these two particular Swifts, only one grew up in a pro-Trump household and was considering voting for Trump, but said Taylor’s endorsement changed his mind.
The other doesn’t follow politics, leans toward Kamala… and says that if in some parallel universe Taylor chose to support him, they might vote for Trump.
Two other Tay Tay fans told us they are firmly behind Kamala no matter who their idol supports.
However, four fans who call themselves the Trump Swifties made it clear that the singer would not change his mind… and pledged to continue supporting Trump.
One of them still loves her and another is still a fan, however, the third told us they plan to sell their TS merchandise. The fourth is complete scorch…burning their Taylor vinyl records, t-shirts and songbooks.
Three of these four live in solid red states—Florida, Texas, and Indiana—while one lives in blue state Washington.
The Swift isn’t the only one to do so, with other fans taking to social media to show themselves burning their merchandise and other Swift-centric properties.
So it might make sense for Trump to say Swift would do this. “pay the price” for her Endorsement – Let’s be clear, though, the vast majority of her army still stands.
Really, with the exception of two outliers…the rest made it clear they were still fans and weren’t surprised by Taylor’s decision…given her past support for the president Joe Bidenand the liberal views she shared in the Netflix documentary Miss Americana .
By the way, others we spoke to noted that they don’t care who Taylor supports because they don’t vote based on their favorite singer’s opinion.
In fact, that’s what Taylor encourages fans to do – do their own research and make the decision that’s best for them… but most importantly, be sure to vote.
