Holland Parsons: I am President of Real Stately Events, leading the company’s vision of combining real estate and event production and securing partnerships to showcase real estate ventures.
My first priority for the coming year is to successfully host a grand opening for a $29+ million property that my close friend Nick Taplett has listed with Sutter and Nugent day activities. The spectacular event will feature a glamorous fashion show by Palm Beach Models and an exciting live auction, creating an unforgettable experience for potential buyers and industry influencers. In addition to this flagship event, my goal is to expand Real Stately’s presence in the Florida luxury real estate market, establishing partnerships with top developers and agents. I will also be curating a range of exclusive venues and vendors to further cement our position as the premier choice for high-end real estate events.
Megan Ford: What have you learned about the importance of people skills while working in the event planning and real estate industries?
Holland Parsons: Jobs in event planning and real estate highlight the important role of interpersonal communication skills. Building strong relationships, understanding customer needs, effective communication and the ability to adapt are keys to success. I learned to listen actively, speak clearly, manage expectations, and maintain a positive attitude all at the same time!

Holland Parsons: My studies at Clemson University provided a foundation in the core principles of event planning, marketing, and hospitality management. I learned about budgeting, risk management, and vendor relationships. These skills translate directly into my current role at Real Stately Events, where I manage a variety of events, from open days to corporate meetings. I also understand what it takes to create memorable guest experiences, which helps me design and execute unique events that truly reflect the client’s vision.
