The Miami Dolphins wide receiver was talking about Sunday’s traffic jam outside the team’s stadium … and he told NBC News that things “went from 0 to 60 right away.”

Tyrik said that when he got out of the car, the relationship between him and the police officer became very tense… and that’s when the officer suddenly Pulled him out of the car and threw him to the ground.
The NFL star said police must have thought he was moving too slowly and he didn’t understand why they thought he posed enough of a threat to detain him against their will.

As far as law enforcement is concerned, Tyrik does not “Cooperate immediately” He was handcuffed for the officer’s safety.
But Tyrik is fighting back… saying he should never have been stopped in the first place and that he thinks police are now just covering for the arresting officers.

The incident happened in full view of fans and even some of Tyrik’s teammates… He said the outcome could have been much worse if he wasn’t a famous football player.
Tyreek celebrated after scoring a touchdown in Sunday’s season opener hours after police handcuffed him imitation of his detention. He said he just wanted to laugh and have fun.
