Colin Gosselin has made some shocking new abuse claims against his mother.
In a new interview, Colin claimed that Kate Gosselin “zipped” him and locked him in the basement when he was a child.
Colin retired from the Marine Corps earlier this year.
He blamed this development on his mother’s destructive comments.
Now, he’s fighting back with some shocking accusations of his own.
Colin Gosselin’s abuse was shocking
“My mother built a room in our unfinished storage room basement,” the 20-year-old told the outlet the sun,
“Her room was filled with cameras and there was a small window in the corner that was locked from the outside.”
Colin described the area as a “containment cell.” “There was a mattress on the floor and that was my lifestyle,” he claimed.
“When my mother put me in that room multiple times, she tied my hands and feet together, bolted the door, turned off the lights, and monitored me with cameras,” Colin continued.
Jon Gosselin chimes in
Colin’s father, Jon Gosselin, has long been critical of his ex-wife Kate.
He also works with the sun This week. He claimed he was unaware of Kate’s alleged abuse until he was granted custody of his daughter Hannah.
“The basement room where she kept Colin is still there,” Jon claimed.
“My friend’s in-laws bought our house. They asked me one time ‘Why is there a room in the basement with a bed in it and a lock on the outside?
“This must be terrible [Collin]”.
Kate clapped her hands in response
Kate herself has yet to respond to the accusations.
But her lawyer, Richard Puleot, denied she had “intentionally” harmed Colin.
puleo told the sun She “did everything to protect herself and her family” from her son’s “bad behavior.”
In July 2023, Kate told people The magazine called Colin a “very troubled young man.” She described him as having a “history of unpredictable behavior and violent tendencies.”
“[He] Received multiple psychiatric diagnoses over the years. … Colin’s distorted perception of reality is one of the many issues he’s been grappling with,” Kate claimed.
After his military career, Colin now says he plans to attend college.
