Kate Middleton believes media scrutiny of cancer is ultimately Prince William’s responsibility.
At least, that’s what a new report on the Princess of Wales says.
Kate Middleton’s Photoshop fiasco scandal has sparked a firestorm of conspiracy theories after the royal family initially claimed it was just an ordinary surgery. Eventually, she revealed her cancer diagnosis.
Even after that, British tabloids continued to press her for details. Kate reportedly blamed her husband for not stopping the affair. And for potentially Cause some of them in the first place.
Long before Kate Middleton announced her cancer diagnosis to the world in spring, people were clamoring for her long absence and Photoshop fiasco.
Admittedly, there were times when the defense fell short of its goals. When you’re a national mascot who receives millions in public funds every year to protect you and improve your lifestyle, one is arguably entitled to a certain level of transparency.
However, when Kate announced to the world that doctors had discovered signs of cancer, many people changed their tune. Some apologized for joking or even just asking a question. Cancer is indeed no joke.
Not everyone is holding back, however. Some, if any, doubled down on any previous question.
Notorious pot-stirrer Piers Morgan has asked Kate Middleton to reveal every detail of her diagnosis.
While his argument actually has some important substance, he still misses the point. Especially since he could have made the same case for King Charles’ cancer battle but focused on Kate.
Public scrutiny began before Kate Middleton made the announcement, and even before she “disappeared”

“William has definitely improved since Kate was diagnosed with cancer,” the insider affirms. “But that doesn’t mean all their problems are magically solved.
There’s more to this than just a cancer diagnosis and related rumors. In early 2024, rumors emerged again about Prince William’s alleged affair with Rose Hanbury. Although the company has made obvious efforts to cover up the story, the monarchy has been unable to completely suppress it.
The source went on to downplay that “this year has been particularly difficult” for Kate Middleton.
“First, she ‘disappeared’ – her marriage was thought to be in jeopardy because of persistent rumors of his cheating,” the insider explains.
“This was certainly the last thing Kate needed after receiving a devastating diagnosis,” the source admitted.
Can Prince William provide more assistance?
“And,” the insider points out, “no one can blame her for being annoyed that William didn’t protect her from scrutiny.” The Crown is known to have influenced past tabloid coverage. Often, it seems, this works against Meghan Markle.
The source continued: “Or find a way to end the humiliating rumors about his infidelity.”
One can read between the lines and tell Kate believes the rumors. But regardless of whether the media accurately cast William as a liar, the pair are reportedly now “very happy.”
