Shayna Hurley is a very strong woman…as she battled cancer during her pregnancy and beat the disease.
The Love Is Blind star said she was three months pregnant when she found out she had cervical cancer… revealing her diagnosis for the first time in an interview with People magazine.
Scheana said a routine Pap smear alerted doctors to the fact that she had stage 2 cervical cancer… which shocked her because she had no symptoms.
The reality star said her diagnosis initially frightened her… but she went into “survival mode,” prayed and ultimately gave birth to a healthy baby boy at 37 weeks… her first with her husband son Christoladakis.
Xena said she refused surgery and chemotherapy during her pregnancy…rolling the dice and waiting until after delivery to have surgery.
Shaina said that after two surgeries, she was declared cancer-free in June… just 4 months postpartum.
