All-new series “The View.”
One of the talk show’s opinionated co-hosts is getting a new look.
Ahead of Tuesday’s season 28 premiere of the long-running show, ABC released the following cast of Sunny Hostin, Joy Behar, Ana Navarro ), Whoopi Goldberg, Sara Haines and Alyssa Farah Griffin.
Can you figure out why it caused a stir on social media?
As you can immediately see, Hostin’s hair is much shorter than in the past…perhaps changing her appearance in response to her youngest child heading off to college.
She is now an empty nester.
She had more time to focus on her style.
We mean…just compare Sunny Hostin above to the one posing on the red carpet a month before The View re-airs on September 3:
Yes. This is indeed the same person.
“Qingqing is missing??” one social media user actually asked when seeing the first photo posted here, prompting another to correct the person and say she was “on the far left, next to Joey.”
Added another fan:
“I didn’t recognize you in the group photo. You look absolutely 100% beautiful, my love.
As for what’s in store for Season 28 of “The View”?
“We’re excited to get back to the table and delve into topics that audiences really care about,” said executive producer Brian Taita.
“The breakneck speed of the news cycle inspired our co-hosts’ perspectives, leading to some pretty incredible conversations.
“The show was extremely popular during the presidential election season, and with just two months to go before Election Day, we moved into our new downtown studio to film Season 28, and I think the best is yet to come.”
