Jason Momoa is taking his band back to their roots…for their first concert in his native Hawaii.
The “Aquaman” star and his rock band ÖOF TATATÁ performed at Maoni Waikiki in Honolulu on Sunday night for an impromptu performance … and video of the performance is available on TMZ .
Jason told the crowd how meaningful it was for him to rock out at Waikiki’s famous International Market…since he’s from the area.
He said it had always been his dream to play there and that he and his father had great memories on the court.
People who were there told us that Jason and his band jammed for about 2 hours… playing 10 songs and covers from bands like Metallica and the Red Hot Chili Peppers… to name a few.

We saw Jason bring his two children on stage at a concert in Los Angeles in June… His band will return to the mainland for upcoming shows in New York, Massachusetts, Georgia and Florida.
