Zac Efron At the Venice International Film Festival on Sunday, he was back in the public eye again – weeks after being hospitalized following a swimming pool accident.
The actor appeared alongside other A-list stars at the festival’s amfAR Gala to support the nonprofit’s efforts to combat AIDS through research and education.

He looked in good spirits, smiling brightly at the camera and laughing Richard Gere.
In early August, after Zack suffered an accident in Ibiza, Spain, he went on an outing in Venice, Italy. TMZ reports the story… Zach was hanging out poolside with a few friends when he decided to take a dive.

Zach’s people said he plunged so deeply into the water that his chest hit the pool floor. As a result, they say Zach swallowed so much water that on-site security had to help him out of the pool.
We’re told Zack is emergency to hospital as a precaution and eventually released.
Since then, Zach has kept a low profile, but now he’s out on the scene and ready to go out and mingle.
By the way…Zak has had other serious accidents. Back in November 2013, he broke his jaw…and his rep said he slipped in a puddle at his home. The following year, he was reportedly injured after being assaulted in downtown Los Angeles
