DES MOINES, Iowa (CelebrityAccess) – Slipknot’s Sid Wilson, better known to fans as DJ Starscream, revealed he suffered injuries in an accident involving a farm bonfire seriously injured.
Wilson told Fox News Digital that he suffered burns to his face and arms while trying to light the burn pile with gasoline.
“A few nights ago, I lit it on fire and let it burn. So, the next day, I went to check and see how much, if any, was left. And there was still a certain amount of debris left on the sides, So I’m like a dummy, [did] Something I shouldn’t have done, but I added some gas,” Wilson told Fox.
“It was really humid outside, so there was still a lot of vapor lingering in there, and it was just… woofing. There was an explosion,” he added.
Wilson said his right arm and face were burned and “basically melted from nose to bottom.”
According to Wilson, he still plans to perform with Slipknot at a show in Oklahoma on September 1st.
“I always find a way to make it happen,” he told Fox News Digital.
Wilson shared a series of photos on social media from his subsequent hospitalization.
