Leah Remini Said she and her husband are raising the white flag on their marriage… deciding that a divorce is in their best interest.
The actress announced Thursday that she and her actor husband, Angelo Pagandivorced after 28 years together and 21 years of marriage.
Leah said a lot of thought and care went into their decision to end their partnership… She said they realized they had changed as individuals and they were tired of playing roles that no longer suited them.
Despite the divorce, Leah claims her relationship with Angelo remains strong and they will remain amicable… She said they feel their 21-year marriage is a success in itself.
Leah and Angel met in 1996 and tied the knot in 2003.
No child custody or alimony issues here… Leah and Angelo have a daughter, now 20 years old.
Leah said she shared news of their divorce because their marriage was very public… They appeared on a TLC reality show together and filmed a VH1 special as a couple.
