Vice President Kamala Harris Convinced that her values have not changed…despite the fact that she has changed her views on policies like immigration and fracking.
The presidential candidate gave a first look at her perspective in an upcoming CNN television interview – in which she is expected to discuss the goals and vision for the country she will pursue if elected president in November.
In new footage released ahead of Thursday night’s premiere, Harris was asked about her changing stance on a possible fracking ban and her desire to decriminalize illegal border crossings.
As Harris puts it… Even though she no longer supports an outright ban on fracking – a method of extracting natural gas from the earth – and instead pursues criminal charges against people who illegally cross the U.S. border – her ethics and Beliefs about the issue remain the same.
She added… “Being vice president for four years, I tell you, to your point, one of the aspects is traveling extensively across the country. I think it’s important to build consensus and it’s important to find a solution. “We can really consensus on problem solving.
Harris also made clear that she plans to work across party lines if elected… promising to appoint a Republican to the Cabinet, but she did not specify who.

She continued… “I think it’s important to have people with different perspectives and different experiences involved when making some of the most important decisions.”
